Services for Individuals
I offer a range of speech language pathology, or speech therapy, services aimed primarily at preschoolers, school age children, and early high school students. Occasionally, I also see young adults and adults on a specific case by case basis. Please check my FAQs page for any questions you may have.
I help neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals with difficulties in:
-
Speaking (speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, stuttering, or expressive language difficulties)
-
Listening (understanding or comprehension, i.e. receptive language difficulties)
-
Reading (decoding words, reading comprehension)
-
Writing (encoding/spelling words, constructing written sentences and texts)
-
Social Communication (understanding and expressing thoughts and emotions, perspective-taking, self-advocacy, communicating in different contexts)
These difficulties can be due to speech sound disorders (articulation disorders or phonological disorders), developmental language disorder, autism, ADHD, intellectual disability or other diagnoses. Sometimes, an individual can have an isolated difficulty with one aspect of their communication. At other times, it can be due to a combination of factors, or affect multiple facets of communication.
